Cemetery
The cemetery at Immanuel Church was officially established in 1885 when Mr. Edward Austen and Mrs. John S. McCulloch deeded one acre of land to the church. Additional acreage was added over the years, including four acres donated in 1950 by Mr. Joseph Mowell and Mrs. A. E. Sharp. In 1928, strips of land were donated to remain forever as woodland, providing a buffer that protects two sides of the cemetery boundary. Today the Immanuel Church Cemetery boasts some of the most beautiful landscape in Baltimore County.
The purpose of the cemetery is to privately serve the needs of communicants of Immanuel Church.
